武昌理工学院创办于1997年，是经教育部批准设立的全日制普通本科高校，以工学为主体，涵盖理学、管理学、经济学、文学、艺术学、法学、医学等多学科协调发展。学校位于武汉·中国光谷核心区域，占地82.81万平方米，建筑面积44.4万平方米，坐落在梅南山麓，被亚洲最大城中湖汤逊湖三面环抱，欧式建筑与山水园林相融，获评“全国十大美丽湖景校园”。

Founded in 1997, Wuchang University of Technology is a full-time undergraduate institution approved by the Ministry of Education. With engineering as its main discipline, it integrates multiple fields including science, management, economics, literature, art, law, and medicine. Located in the core area of Wuhan·China Optics Valley, the university covers an area of 828,100 square meters with a building area of 444,000 square meters. Nestled at the foot of Meinan Mountain and surrounded on three sides by Tangxun Lake (Asia's largest urban lake), its European-style architecture blends harmoniously with landscape gardens, earning it the title of "One of China's Top Ten Beautiful Lake-view Campuses".

The university comprises 12 colleges including the School of Artificial Intelligence and School of Life Sciences, offering 64 undergraduate and junior college programs. It has 14,590 full-time students and 155 international students. Equipped with advanced teaching facilities, its library houses 1.5625 million paper books and 2.176 million e-books. There are 150 laboratories and 156 internship bases, including 1 national-level makerspace and 3 provincial experimental teaching demonstration centers. Pioneering the "Successful Quality Education" concept, it has won national teaching achievement awards. The employment rate of graduates has exceeded 92% for years, with 30% employed by Fortune Global 500 companies and over 300 alumni owning enterprises with assets exceeding 10 million yuan.

学校注重国际交流，与16个国家48所大学建立合作关系，在日本大阪、法国巴黎设立海外校区，开设中外合作办学项目5个。先后获评“全国毕业生就业典型经验高校”“湖北省文明校园”，连续五年入选“中国民办大学综合实力排行榜”前十，是湖北省重点培育本科高校及转型发展试点单位。

Emphasizing international exchange, the university has established partnerships with 48 universities in 16 countries, with overseas campuses in Osaka (Japan) and Paris (France), and 5 Sino-foreign cooperative education programs.
