无锡太湖学院是经教育部批准建立的全日制、多学科应用型本科高校，位于无锡市区国家级森林公园内，占地2000亩，师生25000多人，被誉为“花园中的大学”。学校源于百年传承的双一流大学——江南大学，创建于2002年，2017年被批准为硕士学位授予权立项建设单位，在2024软科中国大学排名中位居全国同类高校前列、江苏省同类高校第一。

Wuxi Taihu University is a full-time, multi-disciplinary application-oriented undergraduate university approved by the Ministry of Education. Located in the national forest park in Wuxi urban area, it covers an area of 2000 mu with more than 25,000 teachers and students, known as "a university in the garden". Originating from Jiangnan University, a double first-class university with a century-old heritage, the university was founded in 2002 and approved as a master's degree authorization project construction unit in 2017. In the 2024 Soft Science China University Rankings, it ranks among the top similar universities in the country and first among similar universities in Jiangsu Province.

学校师资力量雄厚，专任教师中95%以上具有博士硕士学位，其中国务院政府特殊津贴专家、全国教学名师等高层次人才300余人，并聘请10名中国工程院院士担任特聘教授。设有18个教学单位，5个专业入选国家级一流本科专业，18个专业入选江苏高校一流本科专业，拥有江苏省重点建设实验室、人文社科研究基地等多个省级平台，与阿里巴巴、中兴通讯等企业共建教学基地398个，毕业生就业率连续保持在98%以上。

The university boasts strong faculty, with over 95% of full-time teachers holding doctoral or master's degrees, including more than 300 high-level talents such as experts enjoying special government allowances from the State Council and national teaching masters. It has also invited 10 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering as distinguished professors. The university has 18 teaching units, with 5 majors selected as national first-class undergraduate majors and 18 majors selected as first-class undergraduate majors in Jiangsu universities. It also has multiple provincial-level platforms such as key construction laboratories of Jiangsu Province and humanities and social sciences research bases. It has jointly built 398 teaching bases with enterprises like Alibaba and ZTE, and the employment rate of graduates has remained above 98% for consecutive years.
