西安财经大学是陕西省人民政府主办，陕西省人民政府和国家统计局共建的普通高等学校。学校前身可追溯到1952年创建的西北贸易学校，历经多次合并与发展，2018年11月更名为西安财经大学。现有长安、雁塔、翠华东、翠华西4个校区，占地面积1600余亩，以经济学、管理学为主干，凸显统计学、财政学、金融学、会计学等学科优势，多学科协调发展。

Xi'an University of Finance and Economics is a public higher education institution sponsored by the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government and co-constructed by the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government and the National Bureau of Statistics. Its predecessor can be traced back to the Northwest Trade School founded in 1952. After several mergers and developments, it was renamed Xi'an University of Finance and Economics in November 2018. The university has 4 campuses (Chang'an, Yanta, Cuihua East, and Cuihua West), covering an area of over 1,600 mu. It focuses on economics and management as its main disciplines, highlighting the advantages of statistics, public finance, finance, accounting, and other disciplines, with coordinated development of multiple disciplines.

学校设有13个学院和体育教学部，拥有6个一级学科硕士学位授权点、12个专业硕士学位授权点。统计学为陕西省“国内一流学科建设高校”建设学科，现有47个本科专业，其中国家级一流本科专业建设点12个、省级11个，3个国家级特色专业。全日制在校生18800余名，留学生48名，近三年毕业生平均一次性就业率90.08%。

The university has 13 colleges and a Physical Education Department, with 6 first-level discipline master's degree authorization points and 12 professional master's degree authorization points. Statistics is listed as a construction discipline of "domestic first-class discipline construction university" in Shaanxi Province. It currently offers 47 undergraduate majors, including 12 national-level first-class undergraduate major construction sites, 11 provincial-level ones, and 3 national-level characteristic majors. There are over 18,800 full-time students and 48 international students, with an average one-time employment rate of 90.08% for graduates in the past three years.
