新疆天山职业技术大学是在西部大开发战略背景下，于1993年创办的全日制民办职业技术大学，2020年升格并更名为本科职业技术大学，是新疆第一所本科层次职业教育试点学校。学校坐落于新疆乌鲁木齐市观园路大学城，校园占地面积1306亩，校舍总建筑面积35.69万平方米，教学仪器设备总值近1.29亿元，馆藏图书121.27万册（电子图书30万册）。

Xinjiang Tianshan Vocational and Technical University is a full-time private vocational and technical university founded in 1993 under the background of the Western Development Strategy. It was upgraded and renamed as an undergraduate vocational and technical university in 2020, being the first pilot school for undergraduate-level vocational education in Xinjiang. Located in the Guanyuan Road University Town of Urumqi, Xinjiang, the university covers an area of 1306 mu, with a total building area of 356,900 square meters, teaching instruments and equipment worth nearly 129 million yuan, and a collection of 1.2127 million books (including 300,000 e-books).

学校下设智能工程学院、信息技术学院等7个二级学院，开设智能制造工程技术、大数据工程技术等18个职业本科专业及41个高职专业，形成以财经商贸类为优势、电子与信息类为特色的专业体系。现有全日制本专科在校生约1.2万人，专任教师626人，其中双师型教师328人，享受国务院政府特殊津贴专家2人。学校深化产教融合，与300余家企业建立合作关系，成立9个行业职业教育集团及多个产业学院，毕业生就业率连续多年保持在95%以上。

The university has 7 secondary colleges including the School of Intelligent Engineering and the School of Information Technology, offering 18 vocational undergraduate majors such as Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering Technology and Big Data Engineering Technology, as well as 41 higher vocational majors, forming a professional system with financial and business majors as advantages and electronic and information majors as characteristics. Currently, there are about 12,000 full-time undergraduate and junior college students and 626 full-time teachers, including 328 double-qualified teachers and 2 experts enjoying special government allowances from the State Council. The university deepens industry-education integration, has established cooperative relations with more than 300 enterprises, founded 9 industry vocational education groups and multiple industrial colleges, and the employment rate of graduates has remained above 95% for many consecutive years.
