厦门安防科技职业学院创建于2004年，是经福建省人民政府批准设立、教育部备案的全日制普通高等院校，纳入国家统一招生计划，面向全国招生。学校坐落于厦门市翔安区翔安南路3000号，校园占地面积580亩，建筑面积14万平方米，教学设施完善，生活配套齐全，包括教学楼群、实训基地、图书馆、运动场、体育馆、学生公寓和食堂等。

Xiamen Security Science and Technology College was founded in 2004. It is a full-time general higher education institution approved by the People's Government of Fujian Province and registered with the Ministry of Education, included in the national unified enrollment plan and enrolling students nationwide. The college is located at No. 3000, Xiang'an South Road, Xiang'an District, Xiamen City, covering an area of 580 mu with a building area of 140,000 square meters. It has complete teaching facilities and living supporting facilities, including teaching buildings, training bases, library, sports ground, gymnasium, student apartments and canteens.

学校秉承“务实创新、德育为先、注重技能培养”的办学理念，设有土木建筑、文化艺术、医药卫生等9个专业大类，涵盖建筑消防技术、软件技术、护理等29个高职专业。其中建筑消防技术为特色专业，拥有国家骨干专业群1项，省级示范专业2项，省级创新创业教育改革试点专业2项，建立省级产业学院1个，市级产业学院2个。学校注重产教融合，与30多家企业建立紧密合作的校外实训基地，2024届毕业生就业率达83.92%，平均起薪4600元。

Adhering to the school-running philosophy of "pragmatic innovation, moral education first, and focusing on skill training", the college has 9 professional categories including civil engineering and architecture, culture and art, medicine and health, covering 29 higher vocational majors such as Building Fire Protection Technology, Software Technology, and Nursing. Among them, Building Fire Protection Technology is a characteristic major. The college has 1 national key professional group, 2 provincial demonstration majors, 2 provincial pilot majors for innovation and entrepreneurship education reform, 1 provincial industrial college, and 2 municipal industrial colleges. Focusing on industry-education integration, the college has established close cooperative off-campus training bases with more than 30 enterprises. The employment rate of the 2024 graduates reached 83.92%, with an average starting salary of 4,600 yuan.
