厦门东海职业技术学院是一所经福建省人民政府批准、国家教育部备案，具有独立颁发国家承认学历文凭资格的全日制普通高等职业院校。学校创办于2002年8月，2007年2月纳入全国高考统招计划，是福建省首批现代学徒制试点校、省高水平专业院校。全国地产百强企业泉舜集团于2013年取得学校举办权，倡导“为师生谋幸福、为社会担责任”的办学理念，斥巨资兴建校舍完善教学配套，花大力引进人才提升教学水平，并设立666万元的奖助基金，激励师生投入教育与学习。

Xiamen Donghai Vocational and Technical College is a full-time ordinary higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Fujian Province and registered with the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, with the qualification to independently issue nationally recognized academic diplomas. Founded in August 2002, the college was included in the national college entrance examination enrollment plan in February 2007. It is one of the first pilot schools for modern apprenticeship in Fujian Province and a provincial high-level professional college. Quanshun Group, a top 100 national real estate enterprise, acquired the right to run the college in 2013, advocating the educational philosophy of "seeking happiness for teachers and students and assuming responsibility for society". It has invested heavily in building school buildings to improve teaching facilities, made great efforts to introduce talents to enhance teaching standards, and established a 6.66 million yuan award fund to encourage teachers and students to devote themselves to education and learning.

学校秉承“致知力行，崇真至善”的校训，以改革为主线，以提高教育教学质量为重心，形成了以高职教育为主，职业技能培训和职业资格鉴定为补充的办学格局。目前设有健康产业学院、教师教育学院等9个二级院部，32个高职专科专业，在校生超万人。学校实施人才强校战略，现有专兼教师565人，中高级职称教师占比30.27%。

Adhering to the school motto of "Pursuing Knowledge and Practicing, Upholding Truth and Goodness", the college takes reform as the main line and improving the quality of education and teaching as the focus, forming a school-running pattern dominated by higher vocational education, supplemented by vocational skills training and vocational qualification appraisal. At present, it has 9 secondary colleges and departments including the College of Health Industry and the College of Teacher Education, offering 32 higher vocational programs with over 10,000 students. The college implements the strategy of strengthening the school with talents, and currently has 565 full-time and part-time teachers, with 30.27% of them having intermediate or senior professional titles.

学校坐落于厦门，主校区毗邻同安影视城，占地260亩，环境优美，设施完善，连续多年被评为“市民最喜爱的厦门职业院校”，获得厦门市5A级平安校园、绿色学校等多项荣誉。学校坚持产教融合、校企合作，与厦门航空、泉舜集团等知名企业建立紧密合作关系，毕业生就业率保持在95%以上，为区域经济社会发展培养了大量高素质技术技能人才。

Located in Xiamen, the main campus is adjacent to the Tong'an Film and Television City, covering an area of 260 mu. With beautiful environment and complete facilities, the college has been rated as "Xiamen Vocational College Most Loved by Citizens" for many years and has won many honors such as Xiamen 5A-level Safe Campus and Green School. Adhering to the integration of industry and education and school-enterprise cooperation, the college has established close cooperative relations with well-known enterprises such as Xiamen Airlines and Quanshun Group. The employment rate of graduates has remained above 95%, cultivating a large number of high-quality technical and skilled talents for regional economic and social development.
