厦门南洋职业学院创办于2000年，由海内外热心教育的十五位学者、企业家联合发起创办，是国家教育部备案、具有全国高考统招和独立颁发国家承认文凭资格的全日制普通高等学校。学校地处海上花园城市厦门，位于厦门翔安文教园区，占地587亩，设计建筑面积31万平方米，由瑞士著名建筑师设计，集数字型、环保型、生态型于一体。校园内湖光涟漪，绿树成荫，教育教学设施完善，功能齐全。

Xiamen Nanyang Vocational College was founded in 2000 by fifteen scholars and entrepreneurs from home and abroad who are passionate about education. It is a full-time ordinary higher education institution registered with the Ministry of Education of China, with the qualification for national college entrance examination enrollment and independent issuance of nationally recognized diplomas. Located in the beautiful coastal city of Xiamen, specifically in the Xiang'an Education Park, the college covers an area of 587 mu (about 391,333 square meters) with a designed construction area of 310,000 square meters. Designed by a renowned Swiss architect, the campus integrates digital, environmental, and ecological features, boasting rippling lakes, lush green trees, and well-equipped, fully functional educational and teaching facilities.

学校下设13个二级学院43个专业，在校学生一万多名。秉承“以人为本、特色办学、全面育人”的办学理念，坚持创新型、创业型、开放型办学，注重培养外向型、复合型、应用型人才。学校坚持以就业为导向，毕业生主要就业于厦门、福建、广东、浙江等沿海经济发达地区，就业单位涵盖机关、事业、国有企业、民营及外资企业等。

The college has 13 secondary colleges offering 43 majors, with over 10,000 students enrolled. Adhering to the educational philosophy of "people-oriented, characteristic education, and comprehensive talent cultivation", it persists in innovative, entrepreneurial, and open education, focusing on cultivating export-oriented, interdisciplinary, and application-oriented talents. Employment-oriented, the college's graduates are mainly employed in economically developed coastal regions such as Xiamen, Fujian, Guangdong, and Zhejiang, working in government agencies, public institutions, state-owned enterprises, private enterprises, and foreign-funded enterprises.
