厦门大学嘉庚学院创办于2003年，是经教育部批准，由厦门大学和厦门嘉庚教育发展有限公司共同举办的独立学院。学院坐落于福建省漳州市，依托厦门大学优质教育资源，坚持“以学生为中心”的办学理念，致力于培养应用型、复合型、创新型人才。学院设有涵盖文、理、工、经、管、法、艺等学科的50余个本科专业，在校生万余人。

Xiamen University Tan Kah Kee College, founded in 2003, is an independent college approved by the Ministry of Education, jointly organized by Xiamen University and Xiamen Tan Kah Kee Education Development Co., Ltd. Located in Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province, the college relies on the high-quality educational resources of Xiamen University and adheres to the school-running philosophy of "student-centered", committed to cultivating applied, interdisciplinary and innovative talents.
