厦门理工学院是福建省属公立本科大学，位于中国东南沿海风景秀丽的厦门市。学校前身为1981年创办的鹭江职业大学，2004年升格为本科院校并更名为厦门理工学院，2018年获批为硕士学位授予单位。学校秉持“以学生为本，为产业服务”的办学理念，致力于培养应用型、创新型高级专门人才，形成了以工为主，理、工、经、管、文、艺、法等多学科协调发展的学科专业体系。

Xiamen University of Technology is a public undergraduate university affiliated to Fujian Province, located in the beautiful coastal city of Xiamen in southeastern China. Formerly known as Lujiang Vocational University founded in 1981, it was upgraded to an undergraduate institution in 2004 and renamed Xiamen University of Technology. In 2018, it was approved as a master's degree-granting unit. Adhering to the educational philosophy of "student-oriented and industry-serving", the university is committed to cultivating applied and innovative high-level professionals, forming a disciplinary system with engineering as the main focus and coordinated development of science, engineering, economics, management, literature, art, law and other disciplines.

学校现有集美、思明两个校区，总占地面积1927亩，校舍建筑面积86万平方米。设有19个院（部），开设63个本科专业，拥有省级重点学科5个，国家级一流本科专业建设点18个，省级一流本科专业建设点28个。学校师资力量雄厚，现有专任教师近1200人，其中高级职称教师占比超过50%，具有博士学位教师占比约60%。

The university currently has two campuses, Jimei and Siming, covering a total area of 1927 mu with a building area of 860,000 square meters. It has 19 colleges (departments), offering 63 undergraduate programs, 5 provincial key disciplines, 18 national first-class undergraduate program construction sites, and 28 provincial first-class undergraduate program construction sites. The university has a strong faculty, with nearly 1,200 full-time teachers, of whom more than 50% have senior professional titles and about 60% have doctoral degrees.

近年来，厦门理工学院积极融入国家和区域发展战略，深化产教融合、校企合作，与国内外200多所高校及科研机构建立了合作关系，在人才培养、科学研究、社会服务等方面取得了显著成就。学校先后荣获“全国创新创业典型经验高校”“福建省文明校园”等荣誉称号，综合实力和社会影响力不断提升，已成为海峡西岸经济区应用型人才培养的重要基地。

In recent years, Xiamen University of Technology has actively integrated into national and regional development strategies, deepened industry-education integration and university-enterprise cooperation, and established cooperative relations with more than 200 universities and research institutions at home and abroad, achieving remarkable achievements in talent cultivation, scientific research, and social services. The university has successively won honors such as "National Model University for Innovation and Entrepreneurship" and "Fujian Civilized Campus". Its comprehensive strength and social influence have been continuously enhanced, and it has become an important base for cultivating applied talents in the Economic Zone on the West Bank of the Taiwan Strait.
