邢台医学院是一所集教学、科研、医疗、康养为一体的公办全日制普通医学高等院校，其前身是始建于1958年的邢台眼科大学，2002年升格为高等专科学校，2024年5月正式升格为本科院校，成为冀南地区唯一一所全日制公办普通医学本科院校。学校秉承“崇德、砺志、精业、笃行”的校训，历经60余年发展，已形成“一校三院一中心”的办学格局，累计培养高素质医疗卫生人才12万余名。

Xingtai Medical College is a public full-time general medical institution integrating teaching, scientific research, medical care, and health preservation. Its predecessor was Xingtai Ophthalmology University founded in 1958. It was upgraded to a junior college in 2002 and officially升格 to a undergraduate college in May 2024, becoming the only full-time public general medical undergraduate college in southern Hebei. Adhering to the school motto of "Virtue, Aspiration, Professionalism, and Perseverance", the college has developed a school-running pattern of "one school, three hospitals and one center" after more than 60 years of development, and has cultivated more than 120,000 high-quality medical and health talents.

学校现有钢铁路、皇寺两个校区，总占地面积1367亩，建筑面积50万平方米，面向全国27个省市招生，在校生1.4万余人。师资队伍实力雄厚，现有专任教师932人，拥有直属附属医院3所、老年养护实训中心1所，教医养深度融合的特色办学模式成效显著。专业设置涵盖医学、管理学等多个领域，其中本科专业7个，专科专业19个，中央财政支持重点建设专业3个，国家骨干专业2个，为区域医疗卫生事业发展提供了坚实的人才支撑。

The college has two campuses, Gangtie Road and Huangsi, covering a total area of 1367 mu with a building area of 500,000 square meters. It enrolls students from 27 provinces and cities across the country, with more than 14,000 students. The teaching staff is strong, with 932 full-time teachers, 3 directly affiliated hospitals, and 1 elderly care training center. The characteristic school-running model of in-depth integration of teaching, medical care and elderly care has achieved remarkable results. The majors cover medicine, management and other fields, including 7 undergraduate majors, 19 junior college majors, 3 key construction majors supported by the central finance, and 2 national backbone majors, providing solid talent support for the development of regional medical and health undertakings.
