徐州工程学院坐落于国家“一带一路”重要节点城市、国家历史文化名城、淮海经济区中心城市——江苏徐州。学校办学肇始于1959年，2024年增列为硕士学位授予单位，获批机械、土木水利、生物与医药三个硕士学位授权点，是国家卓越工程师教育培养计划实施高校、国家产教融合发展工程首批立项高校、全国新建本科院校联盟常务副理事长单位。

Xuzhou University of Technology is located in Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province, a key node city of the national "the Belt and Road Initiative", a national historical and cultural city, and the central city of the Huaihai Economic Zone. Founded in 1959, the university was accredited as a master's degree-granting unit in 2024, with three master's degree programs in Mechanical Engineering, Civil and Hydraulic Engineering, and Biology and Medicine. It is an implementing university of the National Excellent Engineer Education and Training Program, one of the first universities approved for the National Industry-Education Integration Development Project, and the executive vice chairman unit of the National Alliance of Newly-Established Undergraduate Universities.

学校学科门类齐全，构建了以工为主，理、工、农、文、经、管、教育、艺术及交叉学科等协同发展的学科体系，现有“十四五”江苏省重点学科4个，工程学、化学学科进入ESI全球排名前1%。校园占地面积约2000亩，校舍面积76.72万平方米，办学条件优越。教职工1800余人，其中专任教师1400余人，高级职称600余人，博士600余人，硕士研究生导师160余人。拥有国家万人计划科技创新领军人才、新世纪百千万人才工程国家级人才等省级以上人才290余人次，省级教科研团队13个，建有省级以上高水平科研平台26个。

The university has a comprehensive range of disciplines, forming an interdisciplinary system with engineering as the main focus, and coordinated development of science, engineering, agriculture, literature, economics, management, education, art, and interdisciplinary subjects. It currently has 4 key disciplines of Jiangsu Province during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, with Engineering and Chemistry entering the top 1% of ESI global rankings. The campus covers an area of about 2000 mu, with a building area of 767,200 square meters, providing superior办学 conditions. There are more than 1,800 faculty members, including over 1,400 full-time teachers, more than 600 with senior professional titles, more than 600 doctors, and more than 160 master supervisors. It has more than 290 provincial-level and above talents, such as national "Ten Thousand Talents Program" science and technology innovation leaders and national talents of the "New Century Hundred, Thousand and Ten Thousand Talents Project", 13 provincial teaching and research teams, and 26 provincial-level and above high-level scientific research platforms.
