盐城工业职业技术学院是江苏省属公办高职学院，办学历史溯源于1964年创办的江苏省盐城纺织工业学校和1987年创建的盐城轻工业学校，2004年两校合并升格为盐城纺织职业技术学院，2013年更名为现名。学校是江苏省示范性高职学院、江苏省中国特色高水平高职学校建设单位，先后获得全国纺织行业人才培养示范单位、全国高职院校育人成效50强、国际影响力50强等荣誉称号。

Yancheng Polytechnic College is a public vocational college under Jiangsu Provincial Government. Its educational history can be traced back to Jiangsu Yancheng Textile Industry School founded in 1964 and Yancheng Light Industry School established in 1987. In 2004, the two schools merged and were upgraded to Yancheng Textile Vocational Technology College, and renamed to its current name in 2013. The college is a Jiangsu Provincial Demonstrative Vocational College and a construction unit of Jiangsu Provincial High-level Vocational School with Chinese Characteristics. It has successively won honorary titles such as National Textile Industry Talent Training Demonstration Unit, Top 50 National Vocational Colleges in Education Effectiveness, and Top 50 in International Influence.

学校现有在校生11000多人，留学生400多人，教职工600多人，设有纺织服装学院、智能制造学院、经贸管理学院等13个教学单位。依托国家纺织服装实训基地等平台，构建了"专思研创"融合的大纺织人才培养体系，与悦达纺织、波司登等龙头企业深化校企合作，实施"四方联合、四化联动、四岗递进"培养模式，毕业生就业率连续保持在98%以上，为区域经济社会发展培养了10万多名高素质技术技能人才。

The college currently has over 11,000 students, more than 400 international students, and over 600 faculty members. It has 13 teaching units including the College of Textile and Garment, College of Intelligent Manufacturing, and College of Economics and Management. Relying on platforms such as the National Textile and Garment Training Base, it has constructed an integrated "professional-thinking-research-innovation" talent training system for the textile industry. Deepening school-enterprise cooperation with leading enterprises such as Yueda Textile and Bosideng, it implements the "four-party joint, four-transformation linkage, four-post progression" training model. The employment rate of graduates has remained above 98% for consecutive years, cultivating over 100,000 high-quality technical and skilled talents for regional economic and social development.
