银川科技学院（原中国矿业大学银川学院）是经教育部批准设立的全日制普通本科高校，始建于2005年，2021年5月经教育部批准转设更名为银川科技学院。学校位于宁夏回族自治区首府银川市西夏区，校园占地面积75.75万平方米，现有本专科在校学生2万余人，设有11个二级学院，开设30个本科专业、19个专科专业，形成了工、管、艺、文、教、经等多学科协调发展的专业布局。

Yinchuan University of Science and Technology (formerly Yinchuan College of China University of Mining and Technology) is a full-time ordinary undergraduate university approved by the Ministry of Education. Founded in 2005, it was renamed Yinchuan University of Science and Technology with the approval of the Ministry of Education in May 2021. Located in Xixia District, Yinchuan City, the capital of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, the university covers an area of 757,500 square meters and has more than 20,000 undergraduate and junior college students. It has 11 secondary colleges, offering 30 undergraduate majors and 19 junior college majors, forming a multi-disciplinary coordinated development layout including engineering, management, art, literature, education, and economics.

学校以“博学德清·鼎新致用”为校训，坚持“地方性、应用型”办学定位，着力培养具有国际化视野、扎实专业基础、良好人文素养、较强竞争意识和创新能力的高素质应用型人才。现有专职教师中，硕、博学位教师占比67.3%，双师双能型教师占比32.5%，建有各类实验实训室103个、校外实践教学基地184个，与英国、澳大利亚等国家的百余所知名高校开展深度合作，实施本（专）硕直通培养计划。

With the school motto of "Erudition, Morality, Innovation and Application", the university adheres to the "local and application-oriented" school-running orientation, and strives to cultivate high-quality applied talents with international vision, solid professional foundation, good humanistic literacy, strong sense of competition and innovation ability. Among the full-time teachers, 67.3% have master's or doctoral degrees, and 32.5% are double-qualified teachers. The university has 103 various laboratories and training rooms, 184 off-campus practical teaching bases, and carries out in-depth cooperation with more than 100 well-known universities in the United Kingdom, Australia and other countries, implementing the undergraduate (junior college) to master's direct training program.

学校先后荣获“全国高校美育工作先进单位”“全国国防教育特色学校”“中国民办高等教育优秀院校”“全国产教融合标杆院校”等多项荣誉，连续多年被评为“综合实力民办高校”“就业竞争力示范高校”，现为全国应用技术大学（学院）联盟理事单位、宁夏地方本科高校整体转型试点高校，为区域经济社会发展培养了大批高素质应用型人才。

The university has successively won many honors such as "National Advanced Unit for Aesthetic Education in Colleges and Universities", "National Defense Education Characteristic School", "Excellent Private Higher Education Institution in China", and "National Benchmarking Institution for Industry-Education Integration". It has been rated as "Comprehensive Strength Private University" and "Employment Competitiveness Model University" for many consecutive years. It is now a director unit of the National Alliance of Applied Technology Universities (Colleges) and a pilot university for the overall transformation of local undergraduate universities in Ningxia, cultivating a large number of high-quality applied talents for regional economic and social development.
