运城职业技术大学是中华人民共和国教育部批准设置的一所全日制统招本科高校，是山西省第一所本科层次职业教育试点院校。学校前身是运城职业技术学院，始建于2006年，2020年经教育部批准更名为运城职业技术大学。学校秉承“做学合一，厚实融通”的校训精神，坚持“以学生未来为本，以教育品质为根，以人格素养为重，以技术传创为主”的办学理念，重点面向智慧矿山、智能制造、文化旅游及健康养老等产业领域开设本、专科专业。

Yuncheng Vocational and Technical University is a full-time undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, and the first pilot vocational education institution at the undergraduate level in Shanxi Province. Formerly known as Yuncheng Vocational and Technical College, it was founded in 2006 and renamed Yuncheng Vocational and Technical University with the approval of the Ministry of Education in 2020. Adhering to the school motto of "Integration of Learning and Doing, Solidarity and Integration", the university adheres to the educational philosophy of "focusing on students' future, taking educational quality as the foundation, valuing personality cultivation, and prioritizing technical inheritance and innovation", and offers undergraduate and junior college programs focusing on smart mines, intelligent manufacturing, cultural tourism, and health care industries.

学校设有智能制造与数智矿山、健康管理、文化创意与旅游、信息技术应用创新、建筑工程、继续教育等6个二级学院，开设有12个本科专业、36个高职专业，涵盖装备制造、资源环境与安全、医药卫生、公共管理与服务等12个专业大类。学校注重校企合作，与70余家企业建立紧密合作关系，建有118个校内实训室和159个校外实训基地，其中7个为省级实训基地，为学生提供了良好的实践教学条件。

The university has 6 secondary colleges, including Intelligent Manufacturing and Digital Mine, Health Management, Cultural Creativity and Tourism, Information Technology Application Innovation, Architectural Engineering, and Continuing Education, offering 12 undergraduate programs and 36 junior college programs, covering 12 professional categories such as equipment manufacturing, resource environment and safety, medicine and health, public management and services. The university attaches great importance to school-enterprise cooperation, has established close cooperative relations with more than 70 enterprises, and has built 118 on-campus training rooms and 159 off-campus training bases, 7 of which are provincial-level training bases, providing good practical teaching conditions for students.
