运城幼儿师范高等专科学校是经国家教育部批准独立设置的全国首批公立幼儿师范高等专科学校，也是山西省优质职业院校建设单位、全国职业院校数字校园实验校和全国网络学习空间应用普及优秀学校。学校坐落于素有晋陕豫“黄河金三角”美誉的山西省运城市，前身为1978年建立的运城专区幼儿师范学校，2007年3月经教育部批准升格为高等专科学校。

Yuncheng Preschool Education College is one of the first public preschool teacher training colleges approved by the Ministry of Education in China. It is also a key vocational college construction unit in Shanxi Province, a national vocational college digital campus experimental school, and an excellent school for promoting the application of national online learning spaces. Located in Yuncheng City, Shanxi Province, known as the "Golden Triangle of the Yellow River" among Shanxi, Shaanxi, and Henan provinces, the college traces its roots to Yuncheng Prefecture Preschool Normal School founded in 1978 and was upgraded to a higher vocational college with the approval of the Ministry of Education in March 2007.

学校占地540亩，建筑面积18万余平方米，教学仪器设备总值3000余万元，馆藏图书60万余册。设有学前教育系、语言文学系、艺术系等6个教学系部，开设学前教育、早期教育、音乐教育等14个专业，其中2个专业获中央财政支持，3个为山西省高职高专特色专业。现有教职工480余人，在校生6800余人，附属幼儿园2所，校外实习基地210余个，已为社会培养幼教人才3万余名，就业率常年保持在98%以上。

Covering an area of 540 mu (360,000 square meters) with a building area of over 180,000 square meters, the college boasts teaching equipment worth more than 30 million yuan and a collection of over 600,000 books. It comprises 6 academic departments including the Department of Preschool Education, Department of Language and Literature, and Department of Arts, offering 14 majors such as Preschool Education, Early Childhood Education, and Music Education. Among these, 2 majors are supported by central finance and 3 are featured majors of Shanxi higher vocational colleges. With over 480 faculty members and more than 6,800 students, the college operates 2 affiliated kindergartens and over 210 off-campus internship bases, having cultivated over 30,000 preschool education professionals with an employment rate consistently exceeding 98%.

学校坚持以学前教育为特色的办学定位，先后通过教育部“师范类学前教育专业（二级）”认证，获得“全国妇女创先争优先进集体”“山西省文明学校”“山西省德育示范校”等多项荣誉，在全国职业院校技能大赛、艺术展演等赛事中屡获佳绩，已发展成为山西省学前教师教育领域的骨干院校。

Adhering to the school-running orientation featuring preschool education, the college has passed the Ministry of Education's accreditation for "Normal Preschool Education Program (Level 2)" and won honors such as "National Advanced Collective for Women's Excellence Initiative", "Civilized School of Shanxi Province", and "Moral Education Model School of Shanxi Province". It has achieved outstanding results in national vocational college skills competitions and art exhibitions, emerging as a leading institution in preschool teacher education in Shanxi Province.
