云南交通职业技术学院创建于1952年,2009年成为云南省首所国家示范性高等职业院校,2019年获评国家优质专科高等职业院校,2021年入选云南省首批“双高计划”建设单位,2025年获批第二期国家“双高计划”专业群建设单位及第二批云南省“双高计划”建设单位。学校现有呈贡、普吉、吴井桥、龙城四个校区,呈贡校区为主校区,位于昆明市呈贡大学城。
Yunnan Jiaotong College was founded in 1952. In 2009, it became the first national model higher vocational college in Yunnan Province. In 2019, it was awarded as a national high-quality junior college. In 2021, it was selected as the first batch of "Double High Plan" construction units in Yunnan Province. In 2025, it was approved as the second phase of the national "Double High Plan" professional group construction unit and the second batch of Yunnan Province "Double High Plan" construction units. The college has four campuses: Chenggong, Puji, Wujingqiao and Longcheng, with Chenggong Campus as the main campus located in Chenggong University Town, Kunming.
学校现有教职工1088人,全日制在校生12000余人,直接服务交通运输行业的专业数和学生数均超过60%。设有12个二级学院,44个专业,涵盖土木建筑、交通运输、先进制造等12大类,形成以公路、汽车、轨道运输、航空运输为特色的大交通专业布局。毕业生就业率连续多年保持在90%以上,被誉为“云南交通人才的摇篮”。
