烟台工程职业技术学院是由烟台市人民政府主办的全日制普通高等专科院校，前身始建于1957年，1990年成立烟台市高级技工学校，是全国首批试办的两所高级技工学校之一；2006年，成立烟台工程职业技术学院；2012年，加挂烟台市技师学院校牌。学院坚持“一心一艺一生一技”的学校精神，秉承“道器相济德技一体”的校训理念，取得了良好的办学实绩，是山东省“双高计划”建设学校，获评全国职业教育先进单位、全国党建工作样板党支部、国家重点技工学校、全国五四红旗团委等荣誉称号。

Yantai Engineering & Technology College is a full-time ordinary higher vocational college sponsored by the Yantai Municipal People's Government. Its predecessor was founded in 1957. In 1990, Yantai Senior Technical School was established, which was one of the first two senior technical schools in China. In 2006, Yantai Engineering & Technology College was founded, and in 2012, it was awarded the school牌子 of Yantai Technician College. Adhering to the school spirit of "One Heart, One Art, One Life, One Skill" and the school motto of "Combining Morality and Skills", the college has achieved remarkable school-running performance. It is a construction school of Shandong Province's "Double High Plan" and has been awarded honors such as National Advanced Unit in Vocational Education, National Model Party Branch for Party Building Work, National Key Technical School, and National May Fourth Red Flag Youth League Committee.

学院地处黄渤海新区，设智能制造、智能控制、信息技术、数字商贸、现代交通、文化创意、安全应急、技师教育八个教学系，在校生15000余人。现有教职工800余人，副高级及以上专业技术职务教师323人，“双师型”教师占专业教师95%以上。学院深化产教融合，牵头成立多个产教联盟和共同体，与西门子、施耐德电气等企业联合成立产业学院，建有四个应用技术研究院及多个研发中心，推动先进技术在区域落地生根。

Located in the Huang渤海 New Area, the college has eight teaching departments: Intelligent Manufacturing, Intelligent Control, Information Technology, Digital Business, Modern Transportation, Cultural Creativity, Safety and Emergency, and Technician Education, with more than 15,000 students. There are over 800 faculty members, including 323 teachers with associate senior titles or above, and "double-qualified" teachers account for more than 95% of professional teachers. The college deepens the integration of industry and education, takes the lead in establishing multiple industry-education alliances and communities, and has jointly established industrial colleges with enterprises such as Siemens and Schneider Electric. It has four applied technology research institutes and multiple R&D centers to promote the application of advanced technologies in the region.
