烟台黄金职业学院是由山东省人民政府批准、教育部备案的全日制普通高等职业院校，属于大型国有企业招金集团有限公司投资兴办（国企办学，公益大学），执行国家普通高校统一招生计划，面向全国招生，颁发教育部统一印制的普通高等教育专科学历证书，学生毕业时享受国家普通高等学校毕业生待遇。

Yantai Gold College is a full-time public higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Shandong Province and registered with the Ministry of Education. It is invested and run by Zhaojin Group Co., Ltd., a large state-owned enterprise (state-owned enterprise running a public welfare university). It implements the unified enrollment plan of national ordinary colleges and universities, enrolls students nationwide, and issues ordinary higher education specialist degree certificates uniformly printed by the Ministry of Education. Graduates enjoy the treatment of graduates from national ordinary institutions of higher learning.

学院校园规划占地总面积1700亩，设8系2院1部，开设工程地质勘查、矿山智能开采技术、宝玉石鉴定与加工、大数据技术等38个专业，与黄金行业产业链及技术工种精准对接，形成国内首家黄金专业齐全、以理工见长、文管财经协调发展的高等职业院校。校内建成140多个专业实验实训室和15个校外实训基地，图书馆藏书120万册，引进万方黄金专题数据库，为教学科研提供特色资源支撑。

The college's campus covers a planned area of 1,700 mu, with 8 departments, 2 schools and 1 teaching section. It offers 38 majors such as Engineering Geological Exploration, Intelligent Mining Technology, Gem Identification and Processing, and Big Data Technology, which are accurately aligned with the gold industry chain and technical jobs. It has become the first higher vocational college in China with complete gold-related majors, featuring strengths in science and engineering, and coordinated development of liberal arts, management, finance and economics. More than 140 professional experimental training rooms and 15 off-campus training bases have been built on campus. The library has a collection of 1.2 million books and has introduced the Wanfang Gold Thematic Database, providing characteristic resource support for teaching and scientific research.
