烟台理工学院原名烟台大学文经学院，位于山东省烟台市，创建于2003年，2021年经国务院教育行政部门批准转设为独立建制的全日制普通本科高校。学校现有在校生16624人，其中本科生14520人、专科生2104人（截止2024年3月12日）。

Yantai Institute of Technology, formerly known as the College of Humanities and Economics of Yantai University, is located in Yantai City, Shandong Province. Founded in 2003, it was approved by the educational administrative department of the State Council to be transformed into an independent full-time ordinary undergraduate university in 2021. Currently, the university has 16,624 students, including 14,520 undergraduates and 2,104 junior college students (as of March 12, 2024).

学校东临黄海，西依青山，环境优雅，气候宜人，是育人治校的理想场所。学校荣获山东省大学生创业教育示范院校、山东省教育国际交流与合作工作先进单位等多项荣誉称号，入选山东省应用型本科高校建设第三批支持高校、第二批山东省绿色学校等。

Adjacent to the Yellow Sea in the east and green mountains in the west, the university boasts an elegant environment and a pleasant climate, making it an ideal place for education and school management. It has been honored with many titles such as "Shandong Provincial Demonstration College for College Students' Entrepreneurship Education" and "Advanced Unit for International Exchange and Cooperation in Education in Shandong Province". It has also been selected into the third batch of supported universities for the construction of applied undergraduate colleges in Shandong Province and the second batch of green schools in Shandong Province.

学校设13个教学院（部），开设46个本科招生专业（包含1个中德合作办学本科专业）、16个专科专业，涵盖七大学科门类，形成了以工学和管理学为主，多学科协调发展的学科专业布局。现有馆藏纸质图书百余万册，收录电子图书370余万种。

The university has 13 teaching schools (departments), offering 46 undergraduate majors (including 1 Sino-German cooperative undergraduate major) and 16 junior college majors, covering seven disciplines. It has formed a discipline and professional layout dominated by engineering and management, with coordinated development of multiple disciplines. The university has a collection of over one million paper books and more than 3.7 million e-books.
