豫章师范学院坐落于江西省南昌市红角洲高校园区，是国家教育部批准成立的公办全日制普通本科院校，占地面积1200余亩，现有红角洲、湾里2个校区。学校为省市共建，是南昌市人民政府确定为优先发展、重点打造的市属本科高校。学校连续8年获评全省文明校园，连续13年获评全省平安建设（综治）工作先进单位，连续12年获评全省平安校园。

Yuzhang Normal University is located in the Hongjiaozhou Higher Education Park of Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province. It is a public full-time ordinary undergraduate university approved by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, covering an area of more than 1,200 mu, with two campuses: Hongjiaozhou and Wanli. Co-built by the province and the city, the university is a municipal undergraduate institution prioritized and focused on by the Nanchang Municipal People's Government. It has been awarded the title of "Provincial Civilized Campus" for 8 consecutive years, "Advanced Unit in Provincial Peace Construction (Comprehensive Governance)" for 13 consecutive years, and "Provincial Safe Campus" for 12 consecutive years.

学校前身可追溯至1908年创建的江西女子师范学堂、1914年创建的江西省立第一师范学校等多所师范院校，历经百年发展，于2017年升格为本科院校并更为现名。学校聚焦立德树人根本任务，紧扣师范性、地方性、应用型办学定位，孕育了“正道守业、艰苦奋斗、求实创新、追求卓越”的办学精神，确立了“以德为先、育人为本、知行合一、服务地方”的办学理念。

The university's predecessor can be traced back to several normal schools, including Jiangxi Women's Normal School founded in 1908 and Jiangxi Provincial First Normal School founded in 1914. After a century of development, it was upgraded to an undergraduate university and renamed to its current name in 2017. Focusing on the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, the university adheres to the orientation of being normal, local, and application-oriented. It has cultivated the school spirit of "upholding integrity, striving hard, seeking truth and innovation, and pursuing excellence" and established the educational philosophy of "morality first, education oriented, integration of knowledge and practice, and serving the local community."

学校现有教育学、文学、艺术学等7大学科门类29个本科专业，其中小学教育、特殊教育、学前教育为江西省一流本科专业建设点。师资队伍中高级职称229人、博士101人，涌现出中国学前教育先驱陈鹤琴等一批知名专家学者。百余年办学历史中，培育了傅抱石、喻宜萱、曾炯等众多杰出校友，近年来学生在“互联网+”“挑战杯”等赛事中屡获国家级奖项。

The university currently offers 29 undergraduate majors covering 7 disciplines, including Education, Literature, and Art. Among them, Primary Education, Special Education, and Preschool Education are provincial first-class undergraduate major construction sites. The faculty consists of 229 senior professional title holders and 101 doctors, with a number of renowned scholars such as Chen Heqin, a pioneer of Chinese preschool education. Over its century-long history, the university has cultivated many outstanding alumni, including Fu Baoshi, Yu Yixuan, and Zeng Jiong. In recent years, students have won numerous national awards in competitions such as the "Internet +" and "Challenge Cup."
