仲恺农业工程学院是一所以农、工学科为优势，农、工、理、经、管、文、艺、法等多学科协调发展的省属本科大学。学校坐落在历史文化名城广州，有白云、海珠两个校区，占地面积1600余亩。校园集云山之神秀，汇珠水之灵气，是读书治学的理想园地。

Zhongkai University of Agriculture and Engineering is a provincial undergraduate university with advantages in agriculture and engineering disciplines, and coordinated development of multiple disciplines including agriculture, engineering, science, economics, management, literature, art, and law. The university is located in the famous historical and cultural city of Guangzhou, with two campuses in Baiyun and Haizhu, covering an area of more than 1600 mu. The campus integrates the beauty of Yunshan Mountain and the灵气 of Zhujiang River, making it an ideal place for studying and academic pursuit.

学校前身是1925年由近代民主革命先驱何香凝先生等提议、为纪念伟大的爱国主义者廖仲恺先生爱护农工的意愿而决定创办的仲恺农工学校。1927年3月正式招生，何香凝先生亲任校长。历经发展，学校于1984年升格为本科院校并定名仲恺农业技术学院，2008年更名仲恺农业工程学院，2021年获批博士学位授予立项建设单位。

The predecessor of the university was Zhongkai Agricultural and Industrial School, which was proposed by the modern democratic revolution pioneer Ms. He Xiangning and others in 1925 to commemorate the great patriot Mr. Liao Zhongkai's wish to care for farmers and workers. It officially enrolled students in March 1927, with Ms. He Xiangning serving as the principal. After years of development, the school was upgraded to an undergraduate college in 1984 and named Zhongkai Agricultural Technology College, renamed Zhongkai University of Agriculture and Engineering in 2008, and approved as a doctoral degree granting project construction unit in 2021.

学校设有二级学院22个，拥有省部级重点实验室3个、省厅级科研平台78个，广东省重点学科4个、省强特色学科3个、ESI全球排名前1%学科3个。面向全国16个省（自治区）招生，现有全日制在校本科生、研究生1.7万多人，始终秉承“注重实践，扶助农工”的校训，为社会培养高素质应用型人才。

The university has 22 secondary colleges, 3 provincial key laboratories, 78 provincial and departmental level scientific research platforms, 4 key disciplines in Guangdong Province, 3 strong characteristic disciplines in the province, and 3 disciplines ranked in the top 1% of ESI globally. It enrolls students from 16 provinces (autonomous regions) across the country, with more than 17,000 full-time undergraduates and postgraduates. It always adheres to the school motto of "Focus on Practice, Assist Farmers and Workers" and cultivates high-quality applied talents for the society.
