浙江机电职业技术大学是一所位于浙江省的全日制公办普通高等职业院校，以培养先进制造业和现代服务业高素质技术技能人才为主要目标。学校前身为1952年创办的杭州工业学校，历经多次调整与发展，2020年经教育部批准升格为职业本科大学，是浙江省首家公办职业本科院校。

Zhejiang Institute of Mechanical & Electrical Engineering is a full-time public higher vocational college located in Zhejiang Province, aiming to cultivate high-quality technical and skilled talents for advanced manufacturing and modern service industries. Formerly known as Hangzhou Industrial School founded in 1952, the university was upgraded to a vocational undergraduate university with the approval of the Ministry of Education in 2020, becoming the first public vocational undergraduate institution in Zhejiang Province.

学校下设机械工程学院、电气工程学院、信息技术学院等12个二级学院，开设机械设计制造及其自动化、电气工程及其自动化、人工智能工程技术等20余个本科专业和40余个专科专业，形成了以装备制造为特色，智能制造、信息技术、现代服务业协调发展的专业体系。

The university has 12 secondary colleges including the School of Mechanical Engineering, School of Electrical Engineering, and School of Information Technology, offering more than 20 undergraduate majors such as Mechanical Design, Manufacturing and Automation, Electrical Engineering and Automation, and Artificial Intelligence Engineering Technology, as well as over 40 junior college majors. It has formed a professional system featuring equipment manufacturing, with coordinated development of intelligent manufacturing, information technology, and modern service industries.

学校坚持产教融合、校企合作，建有国家级职业教育实训基地5个、省级重点实验室3个，与华为、阿里巴巴、吉利等300余家知名企业建立深度合作关系，共建产业学院15个，年均培养高素质技术技能人才5000余人，毕业生就业率连续多年保持在98%以上，为区域经济社会发展提供了有力的人才支撑。

Adhering to the integration of industry and education and school-enterprise cooperation, the university has built 5 national-level vocational education training bases and 3 provincial key laboratories. It has established in-depth cooperative relations with more than 300 well-known enterprises such as Huawei, Alibaba, and Geely, and co-founded 15 industrial colleges. It cultivates more than 5,000 high-quality technical and skilled talents annually, with the employment rate of graduates remaining above 98% for many years, providing strong talent support for regional economic and social development.
