浙江汽车职业技术学院由临海市人民政府和浙江吉利控股集团联合办学，是一所专科层次的全日制民办普通高等职业院校。学院前身为1997年创办的浙江经济管理专修学院，2006年正式建校，秉承“走进校园是为了更好地走向社会”的办学宗旨，以培养汽车产业高素质技术技能人才为核心定位。

Zhejiang Vocational and Technical College of Automobile is a full-time private higher vocational college at the junior college level, jointly run by the People's Government of Linhai City and Zhejiang Geely Holding Group. Formerly known as Zhejiang Economic Management College founded in 1997, the college was officially established in 2006. It adheres to the school-running tenet of "Entering the campus is to better step into society" and focuses on cultivating high-quality technical and skilled talents for the automotive industry.

学院坐落于浙江省临海市，设有汽车制造、新能源汽车技术、智能网联汽车技术等22个专业，形成以汽车类专业为核心的五大专业群。依托吉利控股集团产业资源，构建了“校企一体、产教融合”的办学模式，建有中央财政支持实训基地、省级示范性实训基地等教学平台，在校生规模达8000余人，毕业生就业率连续多年保持在95%以上。

Located in Linhai City, Zhejiang Province, the college offers 22 majors including Automobile Manufacturing, New Energy Vehicle Technology, and Intelligent Connected Vehicle Technology, forming five major professional groups with automotive majors as the core. Relying on the industrial resources of Geely Holding Group, it has built a school-running model of "integration of school and enterprise, integration of production and education", with teaching platforms such as central finance-supported training bases and provincial demonstration training bases. The number of students in school reaches more than 8,000, and the employment rate of graduates has remained above 95% for many years.
