郑州工业应用技术学院位于中国历史文化古都河南省新郑市，是经教育部批准、中原华信商贸集团有限公司投资举办的一所全日制普通民办本科院校。学校创建于1997年，2008年升格为本科高校，2012年获学士学位授予权，2014年更名为郑州工业应用技术学院，2016年通过教育部本科教学工作合格评估，2021年获批河南省硕士学位授予立项建设单位。

Zhengzhou University of Industrial Technology is located in Xinzheng City, Henan Province, an ancient capital with a rich historical and cultural heritage in China. It is a full-time private undergraduate institution approved by the Ministry of Education and invested by Zhongyuan Huaxin Trading Group Co., Ltd. Founded in 1997, the university was upgraded to an undergraduate institution in 2008, obtained the right to grant bachelor's degrees in 2012, renamed Zhengzhou University of Industrial Technology in 2014, passed the undergraduate teaching qualification assessment of the Ministry of Education in 2016, and was approved as a master's degree granting project construction unit in Henan Province in 2021.

学校现有东、西两个校区，总占地约2000亩，设有15个学院（部），47个本科专业，形成了以工学为主，工学、医学、管理学、经济学、艺术学、文学、教育学等多学科协调发展的学科专业布局。现有全日制本专科在校生30000余人，折合专任教师2000余人，其中享受国务院特殊津贴专家3人，国家级优秀教师1人，河南省高层次人才4人。近年来，学校先后荣获“河南省文明校园”“河南省优秀民办学校”“中国高水平民办大学”等荣誉称号。

The university currently has two campuses, East and West, covering a total area of about 2000 mu. It has 15 colleges (departments) and 47 undergraduate majors, forming a disciplinary and professional layout with engineering as the main focus, and coordinated development of engineering, medicine, management, economics, art, literature, education and other disciplines. There are more than 30,000 full-time undergraduate and junior college students, and more than 2,000 full-time teachers, including 3 experts enjoying special government allowances from the State Council, 1 national excellent teacher, and 4 high-level talents in Henan Province. In recent years, the university has successively won honorary titles such as "Henan Civilized Campus", "Henan Excellent Private School" and "China's High-level Private University".
