郑州警察学院是公安部直属、面向全国公安机关，聚焦铁路、城市轨道交通系统培养公安专业人才的公安高等院校。学院1950年创建于北京，1980年迁建郑州，2000年从原铁道部划归公安部管理，2013年经教育部批准独立举办全日制普通本科教育并更名为铁道警察学院，2023年落实中央深化改革精神更名为郑州警察学院。

Zhengzhou Police College is a public security higher education institution directly under the Ministry of Public Security, focusing on cultivating public security professionals for railway and urban rail transit systems nationwide. Founded in Beijing in 1950, the college was relocated to Zhengzhou in 1980. In 2000, it was transferred from the former Ministry of Railways to the management of the Ministry of Public Security. In 2013, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, it began offering full-time undergraduate education independently and was renamed Railway Police College. In 2023, in accordance with the central government's deepening reform spirit, it was renamed Zhengzhou Police College.

学院现有龙湖和农业路两个校区，自有土地931.23亩，总建筑面积28.43万平方米，教学科研仪器设备总值1.24亿元，校内实验实训场所52个，校外实践教学基地32个。设置10个教学系部，开设治安学、侦查学、刑事科学技术等7个本科专业，其中5个专业入选国家级一流本科专业建设点，3个学科获批河南省重点学科。

The college has two campuses: Longhu and Nongye Road, covering an area of 931.23 mu with a total construction area of 284,300 square meters. The total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment is 124 million yuan, with 52 on-campus experimental training sites and 32 off-campus practical teaching bases. It has 10 teaching departments and offers 7 undergraduate majors including Public Security Studies, Investigation, and Forensic Science and Technology. Among them, 5 majors have been selected as national first-class undergraduate major construction sites, and 3 disciplines have been approved as key disciplines in Henan Province.

学院始终坚持公安教育特色，形成了“教、学、练、战”一体化人才培养模式，为全国铁路和地方公安机关输送毕业生4万余人，涌现出一级英模雷宏、沈战东等大批优秀校友，被誉为“铁道卫士的摇篮”。

Adhering to the characteristics of public security education, the college has formed an integrated talent training model of "teaching, learning, practicing, and combat". It has trained over 40,000 graduates for railway and local public security organs nationwide, producing outstanding alumni such as first-class models Lei Hong and Shen Zhandong, and is known as "the cradle of railway guards".
