Amity University, founded in 1996, is a private research-oriented comprehensive university located in India, established by the non-profit organization Ritnand Balved Education Foundation. Ranked first among private universities in India, it boasts particularly strong strengths in law and engineering disciplines. Currently, the university comprises 2 universities and 70 educational institutions, offering educational resources across 130 majors including science, humanities, and media to over 50,000 students.

学校发展迅速，在印度国内设有Noida、Kolkata、Lucknow等多个校区，并在迪拜等海外地区建立分校，形成了国际化的办学网络。2012年，北京理工大学代表团曾访问该校，双方就学生交换、联合培养等合作领域达成共识，并决定在阿米提大学建立北京理工大学海外生源基地。

The university has developed rapidly, with multiple campuses in India including Noida, Kolkata, and Lucknow, as well as overseas branches in Dubai and other regions, forming an international educational network. In 2012, a delegation from Beijing Institute of Technology visited the university, where both parties reached consensus on cooperation areas such as student exchange and joint training, and decided to establish an overseas student recruitment base of Beijing Institute of Technology at Amity University.
