重庆安全技术职业学院是由重庆市人民政府举办，重庆市应急管理局主管，重庆市教育委员会业务指导的全日制公办普通高等院校，是国家应急管理部（原国家安全监管总局）与重庆市人民政府共建院校，也是西南地区唯一一所安全类高等职业院校。学校地处三峡腹心——万州区，共有百安校区、沙河校区、高峰校区（筹建中）三个校区，校园占地近1200亩，设有6个教学单位，现有全日制在校学生1.1万余人。

Chongqing Vocational Institute of Safety & Technology is a full-time public higher vocational college sponsored by the Chongqing Municipal People's Government, administered by the Chongqing Municipal Emergency Management Bureau, and under the academic guidance of the Chongqing Municipal Education Commission. It is a co-constructed institution by the Ministry of Emergency Management (formerly the State Administration of Work Safety) and the Chongqing Municipal People's Government, and the only safety-oriented higher vocational college in Southwest China. Located in Wanzhou District, the heart of the Three Gorges Reservoir area, the college has three campuses: Bai'an, Shahe, and Gaofeng (under construction), covering an area of nearly 1,200 mu. It has 6 teaching units with over 11,000 full-time students.

学校秉承“修德强技、服务安全”校训，坚持“校企合作、工学结合、特色发展、育才兴安”办学理念，紧密对接国家和重庆市发展战略，面向应急救援和安全领域转型升级需求，开设有安全技术与管理、应急救援技术、消防救援技术等28个专业。现有中央财政支持专业2个、重庆市骨干专业3个，毕业生就业率连续多年保持在96%以上，2024年荣获首届全国大学生职业规划大赛金奖（全国第1名）。

Adhering to the school motto of "Cultivating Morality and Strengthening Skills to Serve Safety" and the educational philosophy of "School-Enterprise Cooperation, Work-Study Integration, Characteristic Development, and Cultivating Talents for Safety", the college closely aligns with national and Chongqing development strategies. It offers 28 majors such as Safety Technology and Management, Emergency Rescue Technology, and Fire Rescue Technology to meet the needs of transformation and upgrading in the emergency rescue and safety fields. It has 2 majors supported by central finance and 3 key majors of Chongqing. The employment rate of graduates has remained above 96% for many years, and it won the gold medal (national first place) in the first National College Students' Career Planning Competition in 2024.

学校师资力量雄厚，现有教职工711人，其中高级职称134人，硕博学历学位263人，双师型和双师素质教师354人，获批重庆市高校黄大年式教师团队。同时，学校是重庆市退役军人培训基地、重庆市网络安全人才培养基地等，年均非学历培训2万人次，积极服务区域经济社会发展和国家应急管理事业。

The college boasts a strong faculty of 711 staff, including 134 with senior professional titles, 263 with master's or doctoral degrees, and 354 "double-qualified" teachers. It has been approved as a Huang Danian-style teacher team in Chongqing colleges and universities. Additionally, it serves as a training base for retired military personnel and a cybersecurity talent training base in Chongqing, providing an annual non-academic training of 20,000 person-times, actively serving regional economic and social development and national emergency management.
