重庆财经职业学院是重庆市人民政府举办，国家教育部备案，重庆市商务委员会、重庆市教育委员会主管，财政全额拨款，以财经类专业为主，具有独立颁发普通高等教育专科学历资格的全日制公办普通高等职业院校。学校创建于1956年，始名江津专区商业职工学校，历经重庆第二财贸学校等发展阶段，2007年转制升格为普通高等职业院校并更现名。

Chongqing Vocational College of Finance and Economics is a full-time public higher vocational college sponsored by the Chongqing Municipal People's Government, registered with the Ministry of Education, and administered by the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Commerce and the Chongqing Municipal Education Commission. It is fully funded by the finance and mainly offers financial and economic programs, with the qualification to independently award junior college diplomas in general higher education. Founded in 1956 as Jiangjin Prefecture Commercial Staff School, it went through stages such as Chongqing No.2 Finance and Trade School, and was upgraded to a regular higher vocational college with the current name in 2007.

学校位于重庆市永川区，占地710亩，建筑面积17.35万平方米，教学设施设备齐全，图书馆藏书85万余册。现开设31个高职专业（其中国家骨干专业2个），全日制在校学生12243人，面向全国22个省（直辖市、自治区）招生。现有教职工中，正高职称23人、副高职称74人、博士6人、硕士研究生267人，拥有全国优秀教师、重庆市名师等各类高层次人才60余人。

Located in Yongchuan District, Chongqing, the college covers an area of 710 mu (about 473,333 square meters) with a building area of 173,500 square meters. It has complete teaching facilities and equipment, and the library has a collection of more than 850,000 books. Currently, it offers 31 higher vocational programs (including 2 national key programs), with 12,243 full-time students enrolled from 22 provinces (municipalities directly under the Central Government and autonomous regions) across the country. Among the faculty, there are 23 professors, 74 associate professors, 6 doctors, and 267 master's degree holders, as well as over 60 high-level talents such as national excellent teachers and Chongqing famous teachers.
