重庆城市职业学院是由重庆市人民政府举办、重庆市教委主管的全日制公办高等职业院校，教育部备案，其前身可追溯至1950年成立的重庆工人政治学校，2004年由重庆市职工大学与重庆市工会干部学校合并组建。学校地处成渝地区双城经济圈核心地段，是重庆市高水平高职学校立项建设单位，先后获评重庆市职业教育发展潜力优势学校、中国西部地区人才培养卓越高职学校50强等荣誉。

Chongqing City Vocational College is a full-time public higher vocational college sponsored by the Chongqing Municipal People's Government and administered by the Chongqing Municipal Education Commission, with recordation by the Ministry of Education. Its predecessor can be traced back to the Chongqing Workers' Political School founded in 1950, and it was established in 2004 through the merger of Chongqing Workers' University and Chongqing Trade Union Cadre School. Located in the core area of the Chengdu-Chongqing Twin-City Economic Circle, the college is a project-construction unit of Chongqing High-level Vocational Colleges, and has been successively awarded honors such as Chongqing Vocational Education Development Potential Advantage School and Top 50 Higher Vocational Colleges with Outstanding Talent Cultivation in Western China.

学校占地近1000亩，校舍建筑面积30余万平方米，全日制在校学生14000余人，教职工700余人，其中博士、副教授及以上教师150余人，双师型教师200余人。设有信息与智能制造学院、商学院等7个专业学院，开设工业机器人技术、大数据技术等36个专业，拥有国家级精品在线开放课程2门、市级精品在线开放课程和一流课程34门，建有世界技能大赛中国集训基地等实践基地103个，教学科研仪器设备值1.28亿元。

The college covers an area of nearly 1,000 mu, with a school building area of over 300,000 square meters, more than 14,000 full-time students, and over 700 faculty members, including more than 150 teachers with doctoral degrees, associate senior titles or above, and more than 200 dual-qualified teachers. It has 7 professional colleges such as the School of Information and Intelligent Manufacturing and the School of Business, offering 36 majors including Industrial Robot Technology and Big Data Technology. It boasts 2 national-level excellent online open courses, 34 municipal-level excellent online open courses and first-class courses, and has built 103 practical bases such as the China Training Base for World Skills Competition, with teaching and research equipment valued at 128 million yuan.
