重庆科技职业学院始建于1992年，2013年经重庆市人民政府批准、教育部备案成立重庆服装工程职业学院，2017年更名为重庆科技职业学院。学校是一所全日制民办非营利性普通高等职业学院，践行“富道穷理、弘科通技”校训，秉持“科技至真、科技向善、科技慧美”理念，着力培养具有科学大脑、技能双手的现代科技工匠。

Chongqing Vocational College of Science and Technology was founded in 1992. It was approved by the Chongqing Municipal People's Government and registered by the Ministry of Education as Chongqing Garment Engineering Vocational College in 2013, and renamed Chongqing Vocational College of Science and Technology in 2017. It is a full-time private non-profit ordinary higher vocational college, practicing the school motto of "Enriching Morality and Exploring Principles, Promoting Science and Mastering Skills", adhering to the concept of "Science and Technology for Truth, Science and Technology for Good, Science and Technology for Beauty", and striving to cultivate modern technological craftsmen with scientific minds and skilled hands.

学校建有双桥、万州两个校区，规划占地800余亩，校舍面积30余万平方米。设有人工智能与大数据学院、智能制造与汽车学院等八个二级学院，开设现代移动通信技术、大数据技术、新能源汽车技术、学前教育、服装设计与工艺等29个专业，面向国内10余个省市招生，在校生12000余人。现有教职工600余人，其中博士、教授、副教授等专任教师500余人，“双师型”教师占比超过50%。

The college has two campuses in Shuangqiao and Wanzhou, with a planned area of over 800 mu and a school building area of more than 300,000 square meters. It has eight secondary colleges including the College of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data, the College of Intelligent Manufacturing and Automobile, etc., offering 29 majors such as modern mobile communication technology, big data technology, new energy vehicle technology, preschool education, clothing design and technology. It enrolls students from more than 10 provinces and cities across the country, with more than 12,000 students. There are more than 600 faculty members, including more than 500 full-time teachers such as doctors, professors and associate professors, and "double-qualified" teachers account for more than 50%.

学校紧密对接成渝双城经济圈战略新兴产业，构建“一特（服装艺术）、两优（大数据、智能制造）、四大支撑（汽车、旅游、智慧康养、财经）”的专业格局，先后获批重庆市级博士后科研工作站、重庆市现代学徒制试点单位等，毕业生就业率名列重庆职业学院前茅，赢得社会广泛赞誉。

Closely connecting with the strategic emerging industries of the Chengdu-Chongqing Twin-City Economic Circle, the college has built a professional pattern of "one specialty (clothing art), two advantages (big data, intelligent manufacturing), and four supports (automobile, tourism, smart health care, finance and economics)".
