重庆医药高等专科学校始创于1948年的中国人民解放军华东野战军第一后方医院卫生学校，办学历史悠久，文化底蕴深厚，是国家首批“双高计划”建设学校。学校拥有一流师资队伍，建有现代化实训基地，专业精度高、竞争力强，办学实力和人才培养质量得到社会广泛认可。77年来，已培养20余万名医药卫生人才，2015年以来，时任中共中央政治局常委、全国人大常委会委员长张德江，时任国务院副总理刘延东等党和国家领导人先后视察学校，对办学水平予以充分肯定。

Chongqing Medical and Pharmaceutical College was founded in 1948 as the Health School of the First Rear Hospital of the East China Field Army of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. With a long history and profound cultural heritage, it is one of the first batch of "Double High-Level Plan" construction schools in China. The college boasts a first-class teaching staff, modern training bases, high-precision majors with strong competitiveness, and its educational strength and talent training quality have been widely recognized by society. Over the past 77 years, it has cultivated more than 200,000 medical and health talents. Since 2015, party and state leaders such as Zhang Dejiang, then member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Chairman of the National People's Congress Standing Committee, and Liu Yandong, then Vice Premier of the State Council, have inspected the college successively and fully affirmed its educational level.

学校总占地面积30万余平方米，纸质藏书112万余册，教学科研仪器设备总值1亿余元。教职工846人，高级职称专任教师超30%，博士占比近20%，“双师型”教师占比81.5%。拥有国家级实训基地11个、省部级7个，直属附属医院1所、非直属附属医院6所、教学医院12所以及100多家校外实习基地，深度推进产教融合，牵头成立重庆医药职业教育集团等多个产教融合平台，开设有药学、临床医学、护理等27个专业，形成以医药类专业为龙头的特色专业体系，面向全国招生，现有全日制在校学生近11000余人。

The college covers a total area of more than 300,000 square meters, with over 1.12 million paper books and teaching and research instruments and equipment worth more than 100 million yuan. There are 846 faculty members, with over 30% of full-time teachers holding senior professional titles, nearly 20% having doctoral degrees, and 81.5% being "double-qualified" teachers. It has 11 national-level training bases, 7 provincial-level ones, 1 directly affiliated hospital, 6 non-directly affiliated hospitals, 12 teaching hospitals, and more than 100 off-campus internship bases. Deeply promoting industry-education integration, it has led the establishment of Chongqing Medical Vocational Education Group and other integration platforms, offering 27 majors including Pharmacy, Clinical Medicine, and Nursing, forming a characteristic professional system led by medical and pharmaceutical majors. Enrolling students nationwide, it currently has nearly 11,000 full-time students.

学校高质量完成国家首批“双高计划”建设任务并获评优秀，系全国职业院校产教融合50强单位、全国唯一为部队定向培养临床医学专业军士生的医药卫生院校，拥有国家自然科学基金依托单位、国家级教学资源库牵头建设单位等多项国家级荣誉，近5年获国家教学成果奖3项、重庆市科技进步奖3项，获批授权专利337项，其中发明专利191项（含国际发明专利15项），办学水平和综合实力位居全国医药类高职高专前列。

The college has successfully completed the first batch of national "Double High-Level Plan" construction tasks with excellent evaluation. It is among the top 50 national vocational colleges in industry-education integration and the only medical and health institution in China that定向ly trains clinical medicine sergeant students for the military. It holds multiple national honors such as being a National Natural Science Foundation依托单位 and a leading construction unit of national teaching resource databases. In the past five years, it has won 3 national teaching achievement awards, 3 Chongqing Science and Technology Progress Awards, and obtained 337 authorized patents, including 191 invention patents (15 international invention patents). Its educational level and comprehensive strength rank among the top medical vocational colleges in China.
