达州职业技术学院是一所综合性全日制公办普通高等学校，办学历史可追溯到1940年。学校是教育部1+X证书制度试点院校、教育部学前教育专业教师资格证免试认定学校，也是四川省示范高职院校、四川省高水平高职学校培育单位。学校现有望犀、凤北两个校区，占地面积915亩，有在校学生16000余人，教职工800余人，下设9个实体性二级学院及3个功能性学院，开设有医药卫生、智能制造、现代农业、教育艺术等类别专业43个。

Dazhou Vocational and Technical College is a comprehensive full-time public ordinary higher education institution with a history dating back to 1940. It is a pilot institution for the Ministry of Education's 1+X certificate system and a school for exemption from the qualification certificate for preschool education majors of the Ministry of Education. It is also a model higher vocational college in Sichuan Province and a cultivation unit for high-level vocational schools in Sichuan Province. The college has two campuses, Wangxi and Fengbei, covering an area of 915 mu, with more than 16,000 students and over 800 faculty members. It has 9 substantive secondary colleges and 3 functional colleges, offering 43 majors in categories such as medicine and health, intelligent manufacturing, modern agriculture, education and art.

The college has a strong faculty, including 28 teachers with senior professional titles, 155 with associate senior professional titles, 12 doctors, and 222 masters.
