广安职业技术学院是由广安市人民政府主办，教育部、四川省、广安市共建的全日制公办高等职业学校，坐落于我国改革开放总设计师邓小平同志的家乡、全国文明城市、中国优秀旅游城市、国家森林城市、国家卫生城市、国家双拥模范城市广安。学校前身为1906年创建的岳秀女学，著名革命英雄传奇小说《红岩》中“双枪老太婆”的原型人物陈联诗、邓惠中均毕业于此；2004年，经四川省人民政府批准，由四川省岳池师范学校独立升格。

Guang'an Vocational and Technical College is a full-time public higher vocational school sponsored by the Guang'an Municipal People's Government and co-built by the Ministry of Education, Sichuan Province, and Guang'an City. It is located in Guang'an, the hometown of Comrade Deng Xiaoping, the chief architect of China's reform and opening up, and a national civilized city, an excellent tourist city, a national forest city, a national health city, and a national double-support model city. The school's predecessor was Yuexiu Girls' School founded in 1906. Chen Lianshi and Deng Huizhong, the prototypes of the "Double-Gun Old Lady" in the famous revolutionary hero legend novel "Red Crag", both graduated from here; in 2004, with the approval of the Sichuan Provincial People's Government, it was independently upgraded from Sichuan Yuechi Normal School.

学校现有滨江、奎阁、岳池、前锋四个校区，总占地面积1700多亩，总建筑面积45万余平方米，教学科研仪器设备总值达1.45亿余元；设有9个二级学院，开设有43个高职专业，有全日制在校生14500余人；现有专兼职师资队伍930余人，其中副高级及以上职称240人，博士、硕士研究生391人。学校先后建成国家高技能人才培训基地、国家级现代学徒制试点高校、教育部首批1+X证书制度试点高校、四川省示范性高职院校、四川省优质高等职业院校、四川省高水平高等职业学校。

The school currently has four campuses: Binjiang, Kuige, Yuechi, and Qianfeng, with a total area of more than 1,700 mu, a total construction area of more than 450,000 square meters, and the total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment reaching more than 145 million yuan; it has 9 secondary colleges, offering 43 higher vocational majors, with more than 14,500 full-time students; there are more than 930 full-time and part-time teachers, including 240 with associate senior titles or above, and 391 doctors and masters. The school has successively built a national high-skilled talent training base, a national modern apprenticeship pilot university, the first batch of 1+X certificate system pilot universities of the Ministry of Education, a Sichuan provincial demonstration higher vocational college, a Sichuan provincial high-quality higher vocational college, and a Sichuan provincial high-level higher vocational school.
