广州城建职业学院是经广东省人民政府批准、教育部备案，于2007年在原广州大学城建学院基础上独立设置的全日制理工类民办普通高等职业院校。学校办学历史可追溯至1960年，历经广州市业余建筑工程学院、广州市建筑工程局职工大学等历史沿革，是教育部现代学徒制试点单位、住房和城乡建设部职业技能鉴定试点单位，荣获广东省五一劳动奖状等多项荣誉。

Guangzhou City Construction College is a full-time science and engineering private higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Guangdong Province and registered with the Ministry of Education. It was independently established in 2007 on the basis of the former Urban Construction College of Guangzhou University. Tracing its roots back to 1960, the college has undergone historical evolutions such as Guangzhou Amateur Institute of Architectural Engineering and Guangzhou Construction Engineering Bureau Staff University. It is a pilot unit of the Ministry of Education's modern apprenticeship system and a vocational skill appraisal pilot unit of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, having won honors like the Guangdong Provincial May 1st Labor Award.

学校设有广州、清远两个校区，占地1300多亩，全日制在校学生2.9万余人，开设66个招生专业，拥有国家级双师型教师培养培训基地1个、国家级生产性实训基地1个，省级实训基地15个。其现代建筑技术职业技能公共实训中心是世界技能大赛混凝土建筑项目中国集训基地，教师队伍中获国家级荣誉称号者9人，省级荣誉20人。

The college has two campuses in Guangzhou and Qingyuan, covering an area of over 1,300 mu, with more than 29,000 full-time students and 66 enrolled majors. It boasts 1 national-level training base for dual-qualified teachers, 1 national-level productive training base, and 15 provincial-level training bases. Its Modern Construction Technology Vocational Skills Public Training Center serves as the national training base for the Concrete Construction Project of the World Skills Competition. Among the faculty, 9 have received national honorary titles and 20 have provincial honors.

学校坚持党建引领，获全国党建工作标杆院系1个、样板支部4个，主持国家教学成果二等奖1项，省教育教学成果一等奖1项，入选职业教育国家规划教材15部。深化产教融合，与华为、比亚迪等企业共建6个产业学院，毕业生去向落实率连续保持95%以上，为国家培养7万余名高素质技术技能人才。

Adhering to Party building leadership, the college has 1 national benchmark department and 4 model branches for Party building work. It has presided over 1 second prize of National Teaching Achievements and 1 first prize of Provincial Teaching Achievements, with 15 textbooks selected into the national vocational education planning. Deepening industry-education integration, it has jointly established 6 industry colleges with enterprises like Huawei and BYD. The employment rate of graduates has remained above 95% for consecutive years, cultivating over 70,000 high-quality technical talents for the country.
