国立江原大学（Kangwon National University）创建于1947年，是韩国中央政府直属的十所国立旗帜大学之一，主校区位于江原道春川市，在三陟市和东海市设有分校区，享有“关东地区最高综合学府”的美誉。学校以“实事求是”为校训，现有近995名教授和40,000余名学生，已发展成为韩国东部地区规模最大、实力最雄厚的国立综合性重点大学。

Founded in 1947, Kangwon National University is one of the ten national flagship universities directly under the central government of South Korea. With its main campus in Chuncheon, Gangwon-do and branch campuses in Samcheok and Donghae, it enjoys the reputation of "the top comprehensive university in the Gwandong region". Guided by the motto "Seek Truth from Facts", the university has nearly 995 professors and over 40,000 students, evolving into the largest and most prestigious national comprehensive key university in eastern South Korea.

The university excels in disciplines such as Agriculture and Forestry, Architectural Engineering, and Animation Arts. Its Agriculture and Forestry program ranks among the world's top 250-300 in QS World University Rankings by Subject, while the Architectural Engineering program was recognized as an "Excellent Research and Education Program" by South Korea's Ministry of Education. It has ranked first in employment rate among national universities for consecutive years and established close international partnerships with world-renowned institutions like MIT, Waseda University, and Nankai University.
