四川华新现代职业学院是经四川省人民政府批准、教育部备案的全日制全国计划内统一招生的综合应用型普通高等院校。学院初创于2005年，2007年由四川开放大学（原四川广播电视大学）全面接办，2011年顺利通过教育部高职高专人才培养工作评估。学院坚持以习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想为指导，牢牢把握社会主义办学方向，在四川开放大学党委的直接领导下，不断深化教学改革，办学实力和水平逐年提升，目前已发展成为万人规模的高等职业院校。

Sichuan Huaxin Modern Vocational College is a comprehensive application-oriented ordinary higher education institution approved by the Sichuan Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education, enrolling students nationwide through the unified national enrollment plan. Founded in 2005, the college was fully taken over by Sichuan Open University (formerly Sichuan Radio and TV University) in 2007 and successfully passed the talent training evaluation for higher vocational colleges by the Ministry of Education in 2011. Guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and firmly adhering to the socialist orientation in running schools, the college, under the direct leadership of the Party Committee of Sichuan Open University, has continuously deepened teaching reforms, with its school-running strength and level improving year by year. It has now developed into a higher vocational college with a scale of ten thousand students.

学院设有7个二级学院，构建了以现代信息技术为核心，以新商科、新工科为主体，多专业群协同发展的专业生态体系，共开设49个专业及方向。其中，电子商务和移动商务为教育部高职创新发展骨干专业，移动商务和网络营销与直播电商为全国电商行指委骨干专业，电子商务为省级重点专业，建设工程管理、现代物流管理、软件技术和市场营销为省级特色专业。学院师资力量雄厚，拥有专兼职教师600余人，其中正副教授100余人，博士、硕士学位获得者200余人，校园环境优美，教学大楼、实训大楼、图书馆等软硬件配套设施完善。

The college has 7 secondary colleges and has built a professional ecological system with modern information technology as the core, new business and new engineering as the main body, and multi-professional groups developing collaboratively, offering a total of 49 majors and directions. Among them, E-commerce and Mobile Commerce are key majors for innovation and development in higher vocational education of the Ministry of Education; Mobile Commerce and Network Marketing and Live E-commerce are key majors of the National E-commerce Professional Steering Committee; E-commerce is a provincial key major; and Construction Engineering Management, Modern Logistics Management, Software Technology, and Marketing are provincial characteristic majors. The college has a strong faculty of over 600 full-time and part-time teachers, including more than 100 professors and associate professors, and over 200 holders of doctoral and master's degrees. The campus has a beautiful environment with complete software and hardware facilities such as teaching buildings, training buildings, and a library.
