四川信息职业技术学院隶属于四川省经济和信息化厅，始建于1976年，时称广元无线电技工学校，1994年成立四川省电子工业学校，2001年被确定为省部级重点中专校，2004年升格为四川信息职业技术学院。是国家高技能人才培训基地、全国职业院校数字校园建设样板校、省示范性高职院校、省优质高等职业学校、省高水平高职学校建设单位。

Sichuan Vocational College of Information Technology is affiliated to Sichuan Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology. Founded in 1976 as Guangyuan Radio Technical School, it was renamed Sichuan Electronic Industry School in 1994, designated as a provincial key secondary vocational school in 2001, and upgraded to its current name in 2004. It is a national high-skilled talent training base, a national "model school for digital campus construction in vocational colleges", a provincial demonstration higher vocational college, a provincial high-quality higher vocational school, and a construction unit of provincial high-level vocational schools.

学校现有两个校区，在校学生10219人，教职工614人，其中正高27人、副高112人，博士（含在读）21人，双师素质在专业课教师中占比39.9%，全日制硕士研究生占比58.5%。开设物联网应用技术、软件技术、信息安全与管理、人工智能等35个高职专业，建成国家级骨干专业3个、国家级现代学徒制试点专业2个，毕业生初次就业率始终保持在95%以上，用人单位满意度达97%以上。

The college has two campuses with 10,219 students and 614 faculty members, including 27 full professors, 112 associate professors, 21 doctors (including those pursuing doctoral degrees). 39.9% of professional course teachers have "double-qualified" qualities, and 58.5% hold full-time master's degrees. It offers 35 higher vocational majors such as Internet of Things Application Technology, Software Technology, Information Security and Management, and Artificial Intelligence. It has built 3 national-level key majors and 2 national-level modern apprenticeship pilot majors. The initial employment rate of graduates has always remained above 95%, and the satisfaction rate of employers has reached over 97%.
