四川艺术职业学院是由四川省人民政府举办，四川省文化和旅游厅主管，四川省教育厅依法实施教育行政管理的全日制综合性高等艺术职业院校。学院办学历史始于1953年，前身为四川省川剧学校和四川省舞蹈学校两所国家级重点中专，办学以来培养了大批文化艺术专门人才，为地方文化建设和艺术发展作出了积极贡献。

Sichuan Vocational College of Art is a full-time comprehensive higher art vocational college sponsored by the People's Government of Sichuan Province, administered by the Department of Culture and Tourism of Sichuan Province, and under the educational administration of the Department of Education of Sichuan Province in accordance with the law. The college's educational history dates back to 1953, and its predecessors were two national key secondary schools: Sichuan Opera School and Sichuan Dance School. Since its establishment, it has cultivated a large number of cultural and artistic professionals and made positive contributions to local cultural construction and artistic development.

学院现为中国艺术职业教育学会副会长单位、全国职业院校民族文化传承与创新示范专业点、非物质文化遗产川剧传习展示基地，2021年入选四川省高职高水平学校（培育）单位。现有温江和武侯两个校区，占地284亩，全日制中高职在校生7500余人，开设高职专业26个，其中国家级骨干专业2个、省级骨干专业1个，拥有国家级非遗传承人4人、省级非遗传承人3人，建有省级技能大师工作室2个，师生在文华奖、梅花奖等权威赛事中屡获大奖，享有“艺术家的摇篮”美誉。

The college is currently the vice-chairman unit of the Chinese Society of Art Vocational Education, a national demonstration professional site for the inheritance and innovation of national culture in vocational colleges, and a base for the inheritance and exhibition of Sichuan Opera, an intangible cultural heritage. In 2021, it was selected as a high-level vocational college (cultivation) unit in Sichuan Province. It has two campuses in Wenjiang and Wuhou, covering an area of 284 mu, with more than 7,500 full-time secondary and higher vocational students. It offers 26 higher vocational majors, including 2 national-level key majors and 1 provincial-level key major. It has 4 national-level intangible cultural heritage inheritors, 3 provincial-level intangible cultural heritage inheritors, and 2 provincial-level skill master studios. Teachers and students have won many awards in authoritative competitions such as the Wenhua Award and the Plum Blossom Award, enjoying the reputation of "cradle of artists".
