The Technical University of Liberec (TUL) is a comprehensive technical university in the Czech Republic, located in Liberec, the country's fifth-largest city. Founded in 1953 as a textile engineering college, it was officially renamed the Technical University of Liberec in 2000. As one of the leading technical institutions in the Czech Republic, TUL specializes in engineering technology, materials science, and interdisciplinary research. It currently has approximately 10,000 students and over 1,200 faculty members, with 60% of teachers having an average age of 45, forming a young academic team.

The university comprises 7 faculties and 1 institute, including the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Textile Engineering, Faculty of Economics, and Faculty of Mechatronics, Informatics and Interdisciplinary Studies. It offers 75 study programs and 180 academic specializations across bachelor's, master's, and doctoral levels. Its strengths lie in mechanical manufacturing, textile material technology, nanomaterials, computer engineering, and marketing, with 27 programs taught in English. All courses are accredited by the Czech Ministry of Education. The campus features modern facilities, including advanced laboratories, engineering training centers, and student dormitories awarded "Czech Republic's Best Dormitory." The well-stocked library provides an excellent environment for research and daily life.

利贝雷茨技术大学注重国际合作，地理位置邻近德国、波兰，承接大量跨国科研项目，与全球多所高校建立交换机制。该校与斯柯达汽车、博世柴油系统等企业保持紧密联系，推动产学研融合，并设有纳米材料高新技术研究所等顶尖科研机构。自2002年起积极发展对华合作，尤其在纺织工程领域与中国高校开展联合研究与师生互访，是中捷教育交流的重要桥梁。

Emphasizing international collaboration, TUL's strategic location near Germany and Poland enables extensive cross-border research projects and exchange programs with global universities. It maintains close ties with enterprises like ŠKODA AUTO and BOSCH Diesel, promoting industry-academia integration. The university hosts leading research institutions such as the Institute for Nanomaterials, Advanced Technologies and Innovations. Since 2002, it has actively developed cooperation with China, particularly in textile engineering through joint research and academic exchanges, serving as a key bridge for Sino-Czech educational collaboration.
