雅安职业技术学院是经四川省人民政府批准成立的全日制普通高职院校，由雅安市人民政府举办，有着74年的办学历史。学校前身为1951年成立的西康省卫生技术学校，2002年由四川省雅安卫生学校与雅安教育学院合并组建。学校坐落在被誉为“天府之肺”“熊猫故乡”的雅安市，现有经开区、青年路、育才路三个校区，占地面积830余亩，在校生17000余人，面向全国10余个省市招生。

Ya'an Polytechnic College is a full-time public vocational college approved by the Sichuan Provincial People's Government, sponsored by the Ya'an Municipal People's Government, with a 74-year history. Formerly known as Xikang Provincial Health Technical School founded in 1951, it was established by merging Sichuan Ya'an Health School and Ya'an College of Education in 2002. Located in Ya'an City, known as the "Lung of Tianfu" and "Hometown of Pandas", the college has three campuses: Economic Development Zone, Qingnian Road and Yucai Road, covering an area of more than 830 mu, with over 17,000 students enrolled from more than 10 provinces and cities nationwide.

学校坚持“厚德、重能、求是、创新”的校训，以大健康专业集群为优势，开设高职专科招生专业45个、职业本科试点专业2个，其中国家级骨干专业3个，中央财政支持的职业教育实训基地2个。学校现有教职工1200余人，建有省级职业教育示范性虚拟仿真实训基地、国际合作人才培养基地等多个教学平台，近年来获世界职业院校技能大赛金奖等省级及以上标志性成果360余项，为区域经济社会发展输送了10余万名高素质技术技能人才。

Adhering to the school motto of "Virtue, Ability, Truth-seeking, Innovation", the college takes the large health professional cluster as its advantage, offering 45 higher vocational programs and 2 undergraduate vocational pilot programs, including 3 national key majors and 2 national vocational education training bases supported by the central finance. With over 1,200 faculty members, it has established multiple teaching platforms such as a provincial vocational education demonstration virtual simulation training base and an international cooperation talent training base. In recent years, it has won more than 360 provincial and above landmark achievements including the gold medal in the World Vocational College Skills Competition, and has trained over 100,000 high-quality technical talents for regional economic and social development.
