宜宾职业技术学院是由宜宾市人民政府举办、四川省人民政府教育行政部门主管的全日制综合性普通高等职业院校。学校始建于1934年，前身是宜宾初级农作科职业学校，2002年由四川省宜宾农业学校、宜宾农业机械化学校（宜宾工业学校）和宜宾成人中等专业学校合并组建而成，拥有91年的办学实践和历史积淀。

Yibin Vocational and Technical College is a full-time comprehensive public higher vocational college sponsored by the Yibin Municipal People's Government and administered by the education administrative department of Sichuan Provincial People's Government. Founded in 1934, its predecessor was Yibin Primary Agricultural Vocational School. In 2002, it was merged from Sichuan Yibin Agricultural School, Yibin Agricultural Mechanization School (Yibin Industrial School) and Yibin Adult Secondary Professional School, with 91 years of educational practice and historical accumulation.

学校坚持以习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想为指导，秉承“鼎承大同 钵传天工”校训，落实立德树人根本任务，构建“三服、三合、三强”办学思想体系。目前，学校已成为国家示范性高等职业院校建设计划骨干高职院校、教育部高职高专人才培养工作水平评估优秀院校、农业农村部与教育部全国乡村振兴人才培养优质校，同时也是四川省高水平高职学校和高水平专业群建设计划项目建设单位。

Guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the college upholds the school motto of "Inheriting Universality, Passing on Craftsmanship" and implements the fundamental task of moral education, constructing the educational thought system of "Three Services, Three Integrations and Three Strengths". Currently, it has become a backbone higher vocational college under the National Demonstrative Higher Vocational College Construction Plan, an excellent college in the talent training level evaluation of higher vocational colleges by the Ministry of Education, a national high-quality school for rural revitalization talent training jointly recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Ministry of Education, and also a project construction unit of Sichuan Provincial High-level Vocational School and High-level Professional Group Construction Plan.

2023年9月，学校整体搬迁至位于南溪区裕华路300号的新校园，总占地面积1480亩，建筑面积49.5万平方米，设有11个二级学院，46个大专招生专业及2个职教本科专业，全日制在校生15000余人。现有教职员工802人，其中专任教师726人，高级职称比例27%，“双师型”教师占比67.2%，博士73人（含在读18人），硕博士研究生教师比例达65%。

In September 2023, the college relocated to its new campus at No. 300 Yuhua Road, Nanxi District, covering a total area of 1480 mu with a building area of 495,000 square meters. It has 11 secondary colleges, 46 college enrollment majors and 2 vocational undergraduate majors, with over 15,000 full-time students. There are 802 faculty members, including 726 full-time teachers, with 27% having senior professional titles, 67.2% being "double-qualified" teachers, 73 doctors (including 18 studying for doctoral degrees), and 65% of teachers having master's or doctoral degrees.

学校深化产教融合、校企合作，创新“政府办学校、行业办学院、企业办专业”三级办学路径，与五粮液、华为、四川时代等头部企业共建8个现代产业学院，建成国家级虚拟仿真实训基地1个、省级以上生产性实训基地4个，教学仪器设备总值近1.9亿元。近三年学生获省级以上技能竞赛奖励700余项，毕业生就业率保持在95%左右，为区域经济社会发展培养了大批高素质技术技能人才。

The college deepens industry-education integration and school-enterprise cooperation, innovating the three-level educational path of "government running the school, industry running colleges, and enterprises running majors". It has jointly established 8 modern industrial colleges with leading enterprises such as Wuliangye, Huawei and Sichuan Times, built 1 national virtual simulation training base and 4 provincial-level or above productive training bases, with teaching equipment worth nearly 190 million yuan. In the past three years, students have won more than 700 provincial-level or above skill competition awards, and the employment rate of graduates has remained around 95%, cultivating a large number of high-quality technical and skilled talents for regional economic and social development.
